There are hundreds of pages and lots of stories of our whole process, hopefully they'll help you with your build. Or just give you an insight into what it would be like to build your own home.

As we were both working during the build we dedicated one day a week to it. Sometimes we did two days, sometimes none at the actual build site but spent the time researching or drawing up plans, meeting with architects and planners and sometimes due to injury we did nothing for months. So that's why it took 7 years before it was ready for us to move into.

You could build an earthship in months, it doesn't have to take this long. But it worked well for us as it gave us time to let this project evolve organically.
